Cash on Delivery (COD) is a convenient service that allows you to pay for your parcel at the time of delivery. Here's how it works.
Parcel lockers
You will receive a notification to complete payment online via a secure bank link. If your parcel is in a touchscreen locker, please follow the instructions in your notification. You can either pay directly at the locker using a bank card or pay online via a payment link. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a PIN code to open the locker and pick up your parcel.
Parcel points
You will receive a notification to make the payment via the provided bank link. After completing the payment, you will receive a unique PIN code to present to the parcel point employee to collect your parcel. Please note that payments can’t be made at the parcel point, so make sure to pay online in advance.
Stay safe! Payment links for Cash on Delivery parcels will always follow this format: link.smartposti.ee (example: link.smartposti.ee/6l3rwe). If you have any doubts, contact our customer service to confirm the link and ensure a secure transaction.
Please note that you have 7 calendar days to collect your parcel from a parcel locker or parcel point. If the parcel isn’t picked up within this time, it’ll be sent back to the sender.
Home delivery
The courier accepts card payments only, so make sure to have your card ready. After successful payment, you will get a physical receipt. If an email address is included in the shipment details, we will send you a digital receipt. You’ll also get a receipt when paying via a bank link for parcel point or locker deliveries. If there is a problem processing the payment, the parcel will be returned to the sorting center. In this case, please contact our customer service to arrange a redelivery.
A few things to note
Cash on Delivery payments need to be made with your own payment card. Please make sure to complete the payment within the storage period to avoid the parcel being returned to the sender.
